One of the biggest advantages of leaving the corporate world behind me in Europe was (and is!) the opportunity to get active as well as creative. South Africa is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream come true, with blue skies, crystal air and a natural Treasure Trove of reserves, parks, farms and conservation areas overflowing with trails and activity options.
I joined forces with renowned adventure photographer and journalist Jacques Marais (www.jacquesmarais.co.za) and have been integral to the research, writing, proofing, translation and subbing of several books.
Our books are all about getting you out there! The style is short, sharp and witty, but there is also a serious side to it. It needs to be accurate, relevant and current. Stunning photographs and detailed maps are also part of the deal.
